Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a ski town in Bavaria (Bayern) in southern Germany, on the border with Austria.
I have the BEST, best, best, fondest memories of this town:
all of the AFRC kids fun, New Years with my father, ski school, winning slalom races, the gulaschsuppe on the Hausberg, playing UNO with family, hiking the Partnachklamm gorge, checking out all of the Olympic stuff, going to great restaurants, buying cool souvenirs, craaaazy icicles...
Just lots & lots of good times & smiles & winter fun.
